Grayson Viles

Grayson joins the team with over eleven years of Petroleum Engineering experience with an emphasis on reservoir engineering, asset development, economic evaluations, production analysis and data analytics. He has worked for large independent public operators across multiple active unconventional plays, including the Wolfcamp and Spraberry/Bone Spring trends in the Permian Basin, the Haynesville, Bakken, TMS and Eaglebine shales.  

Most recently Grayson was a reservoir engineer with Permian Resources and oversaw the deployment of over $800MM in capital, which led to asset production growing from 10,000 to over 26,000 net barrels of oil per day. Grayson also ran economic evaluations on more than 20 unique M&A opportunities ranging in size from $50mm to over $1 billion.  

Prior to Permian Resources, Grayson was a Reservoir Engineer for Encana Corporation working in various capacities on multidisciplinary asset development teams, reservoir characterization teams and on multiple business development teams. Additionally, Grayson provided SEC Reserves reporting at the asset level over a number of years. During his time there Grayson evaluated over $4 billion in acquisition opportunities. Grayson holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
